Just to add to that last bit about the lemon juice... I dribbled a bit of juice onto his cracker, which he then ate a bit of. Next thing we know, he's got a fistful of lemon wedge and is struggling to squeeze some more juice onto his cracker, then into his own mouth. :)
Seems he's got the same "I Love Sour Stuff" gene both his dad and big brother have. -hehehehe-

-insert hollywood scream here-
It was so funny the other day... the boys were playing and I heard massive giggles and thumps, and assorted other noises, from them. As I peek around the office door I saw Gordy crawling along the hallway with Xani chasing him. Nothing unusual there... but what had me dearly wishing I could record what I saw and save it to a disc or something was that Xani was chasing Gordy for a change, and he had his arms raised up like the old hollywood zombies and monsters, making his "Orange Lion Growl" noises.
It was so cute!

Works on cats, AND babies!
Tonight while Xani was crawling all over the place basically being a pain... I noticed an old laserpointer on the bookshelf nearby. So, just for a laugh (and to gauge his interest) I grabbed it and beamed a 'magic red bug' onto the floor in front of him. It took him a few seconds to process this new input, but sure enough a grin spread over his grubby mush, and he proceeded to crawl after it.
I kept it just in front of him as he travelled, much to his delight, until he approached our closed bedroom door. So, up the door I ran the 'bug' and sure enough, up onto his feet went he, fearlessly chasing down the glowing 'bug' as it crawled up out of reach.
He stood there, totally unaware of the fact he was unsupported, for a good 30 seconds, reaching around as I moved the pointer about him. Then, at T's suggestion, I used it to lure him into his bedroom for bum-changing and eventual bed. While T prepared, I kep him entertained by running the bug around him, and even letting it 'settle' in his outstretched hand for a bit... much to his giggle-filled enjoyment as he tried to grasp it and crush the life out of it's glowing little body. -lol-
All too soon, time for him to pass on into the land of slumber... but the 'bug' awaits another night's entertainment for all concerned. ;) An excellent baby remote control, we have.

You can keep the sloshy stuff, just gimme the gold...
Xani's newest 'hit pick' toy is... Daddy's leftover empty Lift+ cans.
Yup... for safety's sake I spin the teartab around so it's blocking the drinking hole... and he'll happily play with it all day long. Beat it against things, wrap his mouth around it and repeatedly 'huff' through his nose over the drinking hole, to make cool louder versions of his 'Hulkie Face' noises... and yes, he'll do the whole "Hulkie Face" as well...
He has us in fits of giggles ourselves... which of course just eggs him on further.
Well... it's recycling Jim, just not as we know it. ;)
